Keelboat Sailing Camp Ages 12-17

This two-day camp is for 12-17 year olds who are looking to learn to sail a keelboat or advance their keelboat sailing skills learn to sail a keelboat (no experience necessary) or advance their keelboat sailing skills and make some new friends.

Camps run from 9am - 5pm.

The keelboats are small purpose built training boats. Very simple and perfect to get started out on. Our aim is to have confident sailors going home with exciting tales of their adventures at the end of each day.

We supply the keelboat, safety equipment and the instructors. Cap, long sleeve top/rashie and old trainers / water shoes are required as well as recess, lunch and a water bottle.

Who:  12 to 17 years (high school students) up to of 4 students on each boat.

Time:  9 am – 5 pm each day for a total of 12-14 hrs of sailing and water sports.

What:  Experience the thrill of learning to sail over two days.  Learn the basics our 25 & 30ft sailing training yacht – they are fast, responsive and fun.

Price - An all-inclusive price of $545 pp for the two-day package. (RRP-$640/pp)

When – by arrangement for during December / January School Holidays – Monday to Friday only.

Bring - you provide your personal sailing gear (soft soled shoes please), drinks and lunch and lots of stories.  No experience necessary – just a curious mind and a sense of fun.

Provided - We provide all boats, sailing, safety equipment and a whole new nautical vocabulary.

Weather - It is always our priority to get the participants out sailing, weather permitting. All of our activities are determined by the weather and our priority is safety. Should the weather be deemed unsafe for the allocated activity we will run land based activities.
