What our customers say
"gift for helping students to really understand"
"Justin is a skilled sailor, but more importantly an instructor with a gift for helping students to really understand and apply sailing concepts. I'd highly recommend Atlas Sailing to anyone who wants to learn to sail or continue their sailing education." - Peter Wright
"Relaxed and friendly"
Justin was my RYA Coastal Skipper Practical examiner. He was very clear, engaging, and thorough, in his instructions, and teachings.
Add to which, a relaxed and friendly manner, to make you feel at ease, put a smile on your face, made Justin a brilliant teacher. I’d highly recommend.
"Calm and thorough"
Justin was my instructor /assessor for my 5-day competent crew quals. Calm & thorough which meant I gained confidence as I gained new skills. If I didn't get it right, Justin's teaching style let me think "OK I'll go again until I do". Highly recommend!
"actionable, memorable exercises for every situation"
Justin is a GREAT sailing instructor. No "old school" yell, just patient, methodical, calm coaching. He takes the theory and translates it into actionable, memorable exercises for every situation. He is also passionate about it, and if you want to learn then he will get you there.
